“Single-eye the body light.”
The Span of Innocence
Dr. Marc Edmund Jones provides the official meaning of this Sabian symbol in his work, Sabian Symbols in Astrology:
Pisces 10° An aviator in the clouds
This is a symbol of man’s transcendental powers of comprehension, emphasized here in his exploratory genius and his gift for creating the endless hypotheses he needs for solving the problems of a modern world. He is able to take a perspective superior to any involvement or pattern of limitation, and to examine any special complex of human affairs with a consistent thoroughness of over-view. The inner and outer realms of reality are brought to a point of effective revelation of each other.
The keyword is OBSERVATION
When positive, the degree is special competence in whole judgment and long-range planning, and when negative, insensate otherworldliness or irresponsible isolationism.
The formula is: sustaining-practical-universal-specializing-social-inspired.
“Fear, belief, love — phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish.” Cloud Atlas

Who is seated in the command chair? Is it the male or the female perspective that is observing? Pisces, you realize, is a feminine sign. Somni 451 brought forth an amazing feminine perspective. Now then, let us turn to another, a male, even Spock, the archetypal male observer of humans, serving perfectly as our other half of this great observer prototype.
“I have been, and always shall be, your friend.” Spock
Of his many cherished lines, my favorite is his concluding observation, said three times; last, as his dying words, first, as his fully conscious words by recalling the previous conversation, and third, after rebirth in the alternate reality. (This was after recognizing that the young human he’d just saved from a hengrauggi in that alternate timeline/reality was none other than James T. Kirk.
A few more for good measure:
“I have never understood the female capacity to avoid a direct answer to any question.”
“A curious creature. Its trilling seems to have a tranquilizing effect on the Human nervous system. Fortunately, of course, I am … immune … to … its … effect…” – Spock, while petting a tribble
“Live long and prosper.”
Together, Somni and Spock sound something like this:
“If thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of Light.”
