And should definitely include the within, should it not? I mean, if by now we do realize that within each of us there is the masculine and the feminine trying to rewire itself into ideal balance, then let us begin there. Ideally, you know, that perfect “alchemical marriage” exists potentially somewhere beginning in our very own minds. But the joy and ecstasy of then sharing it, or if not first, then at last coming to it. Ecstasy within, ecstasy without. That’s the ultimate tête–à–tête we’re going for — that which inspires to self-transcendent experience.

We’ve heard it before—every ending is a new beginning, but this proposed outlandish scientific discovery—the idea of unboiling an egg—may at least provide for a new perspective of this symbol, A child born from an eggshell.

We would need to add the essential ingredient of timelessness–that life is not linear but ever-present. Here is the cosmic and auric egg of existence referred to in Marc’s interpretation. The ability to go back and forth, over and over again in life without fear of loss of existence itself: a self-matrix, chances for change, for doing this part again but better and change that allows us to undo or bring restoration to previous failed attempts. Eternally living (let’s do that again)–eternally letting go of what does not prove its worth (dying)–ever-sustaining and fulfilling our desire for experiential existence.

1. THE GREAT LAW

As you sow, so shall you reap. This is also known as the Law of Cause and Effect. Whatever we put out in the Universe is what comes back to us. If what we want is Happiness, Peace, Friendship, Love… Then we should BE Happy, Peaceful, Loving, a Friend.

1. THE LAW OF CREATION

Life doesn’t just HAPPEN, it requires our participation. We are one with the Universe both inside and out. Whatever surrounds us gives us clues to our inner state. BE and DO yourself… what you want to have in your Life.

1. THE LAW OF HUMILITY

What you refuse to accept, will continue for you. If what we see is an enemy, or someone with a character trait that we find to be negative then we ourselves are not focused on a higher level of existence.

1. THE LAW OF GROWTH

Wherever you go, there you are. For us to GROW in Spirit it is we who must change and not the people, places or things around us. The only given we have in our lives is OURSELVES and that is the only factor we have control over. When we change who and what we are within our heart our life changes too.

1. THE LAW OF RESPONSIBILITY

Whenever there is something wrong, there is something wrong in me. We mirror what surrounds us and what surrounds us mirrors us. We must take responsibility for what is in our life.

1. THE LAW OF CONNECTION

Even if something we do seems inconsequential, it is very important that it gets done as everything in the Universe is connected. Each step leads to the next step and so forth and so on. Someone must do the initial work to get a job done. Neither the first step nor the last are of greater significance. They were both needed to accomplish the task. Past, Present, Future, they are all connected…

1. THE LAW OF FOCUS

You can’t think of two things at the same time. When our focus is on Spiritual Values it is impossible for us to have lower thoughts such as greed or anger.

1. THE LAW OF GIVING AND HOSPITALITY

If you believe something to be true, then sometime in your life you will be called upon to demonstrate that truth. Here is where we put what we SAY that we have learned into PRACTICE.

1. THE LAW OF HERE AND NOW

Looking back to examine what was, prevents us from being totally in the HERE AND NOW. Old thoughts, old patterns of behavior, old dreams… prevent us from having new ones

1. THE LAW OF CHANGE

History repeats itself until we learn the lessons that we need to change our path.

1. THE LAW OF PATIENCE AND REWARD

All Rewards require initial toil. Rewards of lasting value require patient and persistent toil. True Joy follows doing what we’re supposed to be doing and waiting for the Reward to come in its own time.

1. THE LAW OF SIGNIFICANCE AND INSPIRATION

You get back from something whatever you’ve put into it. The Value of something is a direct result of the energy and intent that is put into it. Every personal contribution is also a contribution to the Whole.

Lack luster Contributions have no impact on the Whole or work to diminish it. Loving contributions lift up and inspire the Whole.

Remember that story about the chaff and the wheat? The idea is that there will come a threshing time—a time of determining what’s worth keeping and what isn’t? This process of filtration and discernment we must attend to on an on-going basis, with ourselves, with others. As we do so, there will be marked improvement in how we feel, inside and out. It’s not about perfection. This isn’t the world for that. It’s about well-being. If it doesn’t feel right, then take a closer look. Maybe you can fix that. The idea is that you’re your own healer, your own best advice giver, the one who will determine when to reach out for help if you need it. You’re the one in charge here; it’s your life. And no king or queen stays down for long. There are things to do, contracts to sign, people to meet. You’re not perfect, but you are in charge of your kingdom, so please do your job as best as you are able. Be the perfectly imperfect you. It’s time to engage in your therapy, your healing, your life. That’s not gonna happen just sitting there on a throne. Stand up! Shoulders back! Chin up! The secret to keeping your crown on is never bending your head too far down. So, don’t let it slip, okay?

Aquarius 3° A deserter from the navy

This is a symbol of human independence carried to a point of extreme rebellion against things as they are, here emphasized in a disregard of all consequences for the sake of an immediate liberation of the spirit. There is a demand for a more rewarding expression of individuality, and the reversed symbolism suggests that any late acceptance of full and personal responsibility for life is better than none at all. Except as man creates his own allegiances, his destiny holds no depth.

The keyword is DEFIANCE.

When positive, the degree is genuine psychological courage in a repudiation of all meaningless loyalties, and when negative, complete inability to follow the rules of any game.

Today you will defy something—something that isn’t you…

That something stops right here and right now.

That is, if you would be an undivided whole–a holy heart.

Aquarius 2° An unexpected thunderstorm

This is a symbol of nature’s potentialities as they lie beyond any individual control, as well as of the tendency of all things to come to some dramatic head in either physical or psychological terms. The primitive symbolism emphasizes the necessity that every living spirit remain wholly self-quickened within itself, and be alert to its more or less inevitable participation in every shifting pattern of events. The convergence of relations in some climax of experience is man’s real opportunity for self-fulfillment.

The keyword is ACCIDENT.

When positive, the degree is creative opportunism and a genius for shaping all eventualities to some desired end, and when negative, complete temperamental instability.

Radioactive – I’m waking up!

If today’s symbol doesn’t light a fire under you to get off the pity pot and take advantage of the extreme cosmic currents, then I don’t know what will. Times have been extremely tough, and the symbolic phases have us right where we need to be–ready to make a major breakthrough.

Some call it an accident and for a lack of awareness and understanding, are scared by it; for others it is a welcomed visitation or announcement, because they have been preparing for it. Whatever “it” is, and however you choose to view “it”, the pulsing and quivering and shaking is about to collide. The time is coming quickly now.  It’s time for the big boom!

Dr. Jones also said of this degree that it is “the violence with which men gain freedom from the weight of adverse conditions or the transition from a baffling to a stimulating heaviness.” Here’s to freedom!
